$50.00
Treat your camera to some pampering while saving a few bucks with this bundle! Comes with Belt Kit, IR Filter, and Focus Chart. Original descriptions below:
Belt Kit:
Set of 2 belts, precisely chosen to match the Fisher Price PXL-2000 belt path exactly. I have had a set of these exact belts from this exact supplier in my camera for the past 2 years and my cassette mechanism continues to function perfectly. Soldering iron required for installation. These are high quality belts from an american supplier, they are not bulk chinese belts. Full installation instructions can be found here:

At this point in time, it does not matter what condition your newly acquired PXL-2000 is in. If it hasn’t been recently serviced, then it will need new belts. The stock belts are all stretched and worn out due to degredation and if they somehow function at all, they will not function for long. This kit, along with the installation instructions should help you get your PXL-2000 running great. Note however; that no guarantees can be made about the final performance of your camera, as every individual camera has its own unique service requirements and wear. Most unopened cameras can be serviced to work great, but the reality is that the PXL-2000 cassette mechanism requires very tight tolerances to work properly, and not every camera will be a perfect specimen.
IR Filter:
Replacement IR Filter For Fisher Price PXL-2000 Pixelvision Cassette Tape Video Camera. Also sometimes referred to as the “Blue Chip”. This is a 650nm IR cut filter. Now comes with a focusing chart. Full installation instructions can be found here:

Newly manufactured. Made from the same type of glass found in modern professional filtering lenses. Drops right into the lens assembly, and provides the same function as the original. It filters out infrared light past 650nm. This is not an off-the-shelf part, it has been custom made.
If you buy an old, untouched PXL-2000 today and hook it up, you’ll probably notice that the image is completely blurry. This is due to offgas buildup on the IR Filter that happens over time. Removing the filter restores clarity to the image, but lets in harmful infrared radiation that can damage your CCD sensor, and can also make outside filming difficult and not true to life.
Sometimes, the original filter is stuck in place, and removing it results in it getting chipped or broken. And often, if you purchase a camera that has already been modified by somebody else, they may have removed the original filter entirely, leaving nothing in its place. This replacement is perfect for all of these situations.
